Return to the city for lunch at midday at a popular buffet self-service restaurant in Kigali
Explore Commercial Street, Camp Kigali, and Nyamirambo; ‘the Muslim quarter’, then ‘the old city’ of Kimisagara and Kimisagara local market. Drive through the Nyabugogo Taxi Park.
Proceed to the Kigali Genocide memorial to pay tribute to over 250,000 victims of Rwanda’s 1994 Genocide against Tutsis.
Drive through the city center for a glimpse of Kigali’s newest developments, which include post-genocide landmarks such as Kigali city tower and Kigali Pension Plaza. Optional souvenir shopping of Rwanda’s quality handcrafts products at Caplaki Art village.
The tour ends in style with entertainment by a traditional dance troop, performing some of the unique Rwandan rhythms and eye-catching dance moves and this will be the end of your tour of our beautiful Kigali.
