Hi, welcome to International Tours & Travel (ITT). Where we talk about all things Tours & Travel.
Today we have an interesting subject that would help some of our clients. The subject is “what are the top five mistakes that people make when they travel”. We compiled only 5 out of many that are most important, and it was very hard to choose just five because some people make a lot of mistakes when they travel. Our agency cares for you and we are going to tell you how to prevent them. Here are our top 5 picks.
1. Number one: this is kind of an obvious one but it happens time and time, and time again. Travelers! Please, print out your ticket! Or at least email it to yourself, or better yet download the app and have the ticket on your phone. It is always better to stand in line while checking in with all the proof you need in case some issue arises.
2. Number two: not having a hard copy of your reservations, and by hard copy I don't necessarily mean printed; on your phone is fine too, but then again what will happen if you don't have your data to access it, or if you can’t connect to your phone or PC for some reason, and then you don't remember the name of your hotel, and you don't remember the number of your reservation. You know! Sometimes hard copy might come handy, you should get ready accordingly.
3. Number three: is nowadays many people’s favorite and one that saves energy and time, and that is overpacking. If you know you are going for just a few days, no more overpacking travelers! How many times are you going to pack an entire bag full of 100 outfits, and come back home having worn like 5.
4. Number four: and this is a good one and this happens to many people. You need to check your visa requirements. It is not about where you are from; you might even be from the greatest country in the world but there might be a country that requires you to get a visa. So check that out before you go and check it out quite a bit in advance because it's hard to get a visa for some countries. Also check the requirements that your expiration date in your passport needs to have, because some countries require that you have six months validity on your passport. We know, many travelers have been there. Some have not been allowed to get on a plane because their passport did not have six months’ validity. So make sure that you check that out.
5. Number five: You need to check your phone plan/roaming if you're going to travel abroad. Because let us tell you a lot of people have come back to find an expensive bill waiting for them and definitely that isn’t pretty and fair, And guess what? it is super easy to avoid. So if you're going to travel abroad make sure you check what your data plan is and adjust accordingly, it will help you to act accordingly to wherever it is that you go.
